Beef Helps Sutter Home® Build A Better Burger® Once Again!
The beef checkoff will again partner with Sutter Home® as part of their Build A Better Burger® promotion. Consumers are encouraged to create an original burger recipe and enter it to win the $50,000 grand prize!
Promotional materials include Weber® Grill/Build a Better Burger mobile displays and smaller non-mobile displays, plus posters and rack cards. Check with your beverage manager to see when your store will receive them. Work together to cross-promote Sutter Home wines from April 15 through Augut 18, 2008. Create signage that directs customers in the wine section to your meat case, and vice versa.
Stock your meat department with a variety of wines. From a spicy Pinot Noir to a light Sauvignon Blanc, Sutter Home has many varieties to choose from. If you're not sure which varieties will work best with beef, talk with your store's beverage department manager. Stack cases of wine in a pyramid to draw attention to your meat department or display individual bottles with signage that notes the flavor profile of each type. Whichever you choose, be sure to include plenty of disposable party cups!
Work with your beverage department manager to select a recipe from the Beef and Veal Ad Planner that can be easily complemented by a Sutter Home wine. Then, feature the wine, beef cut and recipe in your weekly ad. Run one every week, or every other week, during the Sutter Home® Build A Better Burger® contest time frame.
